Why use Type 2?
Its 90° connection and straight push-on engagement make the Type 2 Button-fix the recommended choice for access panels and boxing-in services.
With the Fix Marker accessory, it is quick and easy to install with no need for a tape measure.
The blue Button attaches to the side of a cabinet carcass or a timber stud frame, and the Fix bracket to the back of the removable panel.
Type 2 is ideal for any application where access is occasionally required to concealed plumbing or electrics, or for servicing built-in appliances. No clearance is required above or at the side of the removable panel, and the tapered Button is specially designed to guide the Fix into the correct alignment.
